The fundamental purpose of search engine optimization is to add or enhance certain elements of a website so that it is ranked highly in major search engines. The more visible a website is, the more traffic it will receive.

Consistent Page Layout and Design Elements

A website with conflicting styles appears sloppy and unprofessional. Font, effects, and even graphics should be consistent as to avoid confusing visitors.
